A demo strangers can try to break

Put the product in front of real, uncoordinated people and let them try it live — a phone number, a public link, a comment-section challenge — instead of a screen recording.

Every screen-recorded demo is implicitly staged. One that a stranger can poke at in real time is not, and that difference is what a skeptical audience actually responds to. Fits when: The product does something verifiable in one interaction — answers a call, replies to a message, generates on a prompt typed by someone else.
